Book 3/50
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a solid 3.6-4 star book. I did have to detract for the repetitive sex segments. Robyn manages once again to concentrate on her main characters developing romance but including enough interaction from our Virgin River favorites. I enjoyed Leslie's friendship with the neighbors closest to her and her introduction to the town. Glad also she didn't end up pregnant half way through the book like so many VR heroines prior to her.
I do wish we didn't have to read so much about her divorce or dippy husband but overall if you're a VR fan you will enjoy.

Much to DO update
January has been harder on me than I first imagined, this pregnancy has been so different from Stuffing's. I have been confined to bed many days due to headaches or exhaustion. On top of the demands of pregnancy, I also have a very spirited and demanding daredevil of a toddler. I've tried to keep up, but I find myself doing as little as possible unless it's absolutely necessary. Even getting on the computer drains my energy :(

Book 1/50 Review
Eve by Iris Johansen 2.5/5
This book kept me turning the pages after page 200 or so BUT it was very unrealistic and the dialogue was forced and unbelievable. I'm coming into the series very late, but these were getting read heavily on my BBC Book Club group and I needed to read something. Ms. Johansen's fascination with the "projects" and how Eve crawled out were forced and reeks of someone who has never set foot in a real poor community. The teenagers spoke like they were in their mid thirties as opposed to being 16/18 year olds. I didn't connect with any of the main characters so I didn't care who died or lived. I think I should have started from the first Eve Duncan book to get into this series.
