Birthday Plans

God spare life I will be skiing in North Carolina for my birthday. Help! I've never skied before but it's on my 101 Goals in 1001 Days list and by gosh I'm going to get it done.

Fall 2009

The semester has one month left! I'm not getting a 4.0 (thanks Business Law *smirk*) but I am grateful that I'm passing. I've learned the behind the scenes work in the hospitality industry and it's comparable to any other business industry however the people factor is a great obstacle. I need to help my industry out and head somewhere for a night.

I'll be back later with my review of Push by Sapphire I had to break down and buy the book because my local library was obviously never going to get it to me before the movie comes my way. I plan on doing a double review (book + movie) compare and contrast.

Bachelors

As it makes the most sense, I'm getting my Bachelors in Hospitality/Tourism Management, yah 60 more credits to go.

The hotel I want on SoBe is not available and that puts me back on the drawing board. However, the hotel Upstate is available to book for September.

Templates

I watched Pure this morning while searching for a template I would like for my blog. I have a headache now from staring at computer screen. It's where I want it to be for the moment.

Making reservations for my upcoming trip to the Upstate, this is where my employee discount comes in handy!

Road Trip!!

Driving to work today I realised it's been almost one year since I've visited Philadelphia, a nice cheesesteak from campus, Fairmount Park, a Phillie's game, a Sixers game. South St!! Copacabana and my friends up there, thank goodness for Blackberry, twitter, facebook and phone calls!

I need to plan a weekend or a Sunday Monday Tuesday trip up and soon!

World Cup 2010 South Africa

I've spent a good portion of the morning researching plane fare and hostels. I need to narrow down which city to stay in. Josburg will carry a good amount of matches plus the finals, but being in SA for an entire month, well I want to go to Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth to see more of SA (and the matches there). Water sports, history, and a new perspective of a different country. There are small carriers so I can go to and fro within the country, reasonably priced flights at smaller airports. Rental cars aren't bad, just need to find out about cell phone service, put my Bb Tour to use.
